Experience

• Assist in delivering Success Seminar courses by supporting instruction, guiding discussions, and helping create an engaging, student‑centered classroom environment. 

• Mentor first‑year students through one‑on‑one support, academic guidance, and transition coaching to strengthen their confidence, learning habits, and long‑term retention.

• Develop and facilitate presentations, workshops, and interactive activities that build community, reinforce course concepts, and promote student success skills.

• Represent the College of Business at prospective‑student travel events and tabling sessions, sharing insights about academic programs, campus life, and opportunities within the college. 

• Engage with prospective students by offering personal guidance, answering questions, and providing an authentic perspective based on my own experiences.

• Strengthen recruitment efforts by creating a welcoming, informative presence that helps students feel confident and excited about choosing The University of Akron.

• Manage the Economics Department’s Instagram and Facebook accounts by planning, creating, and scheduling content that showcases student life, faculty work, and departmental initiatives. 

• Analyze engagement metrics to identify trends, optimize posting strategies, and strengthen the department’s digital presence across platforms.

• Implement social media campaigns and content calendars that support recruitment, increase visibility, and build a consistent, engaging brand for the department.
